This group of work by Al Held was selected to embody the spirit of experimentation. While created at different points in his career, collectively these works reveal the artist working through a different medium or new imagery. This presentation is on view in Held’s former painting studio, and accompanies the simultaneous on-site exhibitions curated by River Valley Arts Collective. The large unfinished work on view offers a glimpse into Held's labor-intensive and intuitive working process.
