This presentation features two monumental late Held paintings, Aperture IV and J's Passage, both dated 2000. Measuring 15 by 20 feet each, the scale and complexity of these paintings reveal Held’s ongoing interest in color, perspective, formal relationships, Renaissance space, and modernist abstraction.
