Join us Sunday, September 29, for a tour of the 2024 exhibitions, including Michelle Segre's exhibition Der Wolley Eulb 07, and a special performance by Segre's band Billygoat in Al Held's former painting studio. The event is co-produced by River Valley Arts Collective and the Al Held Foundation. Please click HERE to register; RSVP is essential.

Billygoat is Michelle Segre on guitar and vocals, Jennifer Sirey on guitar, vocals, slide and spoons, Kathryn Lewis on guitar, vocals, keys and percussion, and Dotty Moore on bass and fiddle. Segre and Sirey’s songs employ haunting, lyrical harmonies that evoke everything from perky despair to transcendent, cosmic optimism. Hailing from New York City, their musical roots are a diverse mix of English Psych Folk, American Old Time, and the dissonant sounds of a Post-Punk generation.

This debut of live music at the Al Held Foundation coincides with the release of the band's first studio album, Billygoat. The record is currently available on Bandcamp in hi-res audio with the CD releasing in mid-September.

The album features 12 original songs recorded and mixed by the band at Sheriff Bob's Studio, in New York City, from 2023 to 2024.
