The Al Held Foundation is conducting an oral history project to document the friendships, work, and career of Al Held. There are currently two areas of focus. The first is artists who associated with Held in the 1950s and 60s. The second is Held’s studio assistants in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. Please contact the Foundation for more information.
